Why do Christians need to seek to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of their lives?

 

Psalm 27:8 "My heart says of you, 'Seek his face!' Your face, Lord, I will seek."

Psalm 27:4 "One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple."

Psalm 31:20 "In the shelter of your presence you hide them from all human intrigues; you keep them safe in your dwelling from accusing tongues."

Philippians 2:11 "and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Psalm 27:6 "Then I will offer sacrifices with shouts of joy in his tent. I will sing and praise the Lord."
