The First Resurrection (Revelation 20:6)
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and seated on them, with authority over judgment. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for the word of God, and of those who had not worshiped the beast or its image, nor had it marked on their foreheads or hands—and they all lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Revelation 20:5 This is the first resurrection. The rest of the dead have not been raised until the thousand years are over.
Revelation 20:6 Blessed are those who participate in the first resurrection; they are sanctified. The second death has no power over them. They will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Christ for a thousand years.
Philippians 3:11 Perhaps I can attain that glorious resurrection from the dead.
